The Union League Club

This is another one of those businessmen's clubs that thrive in Manhattan..

Originally started by supporters of the Union right before the Civil War.

Have been inside while I was working...

It has impressive interior architecture, particularly in its main meeting room and balconied library.

When I was there last, library had display of antique toy soldiers...

This is, of course, the part of Manhattan that reflects the upper 2% of our nation that gets all the breaks.
