This is another one of those businessmen's clubs that thrive in Manhattan..Originally started by supporters of the Union right before the Civil War.
Have been inside while I was working...
It has impressive interior architecture, particularly in its main meeting room and balconied library.
When I was there last, library had display of antique toy soldiers...
This is, of course, the part of Manhattan that reflects the upper 2% of our nation that gets all the breaks.
