Floors seven, eight, nine and 10 were destroyed in the blaze, which was brought under control nearly seven hours after crews were first called to the scene.

Twenty cadets and volunteers took part in the 5km race, which saw them run from Southwark Park Bermondsey through the empty Rotherhithe Tunnel, along the docks to the Billingsgate Market finish line.
Other cadets joined standard bearers to form a guard of honour at the finish line and helped man the water station with volunteers.
