Eagle-Eyed Cops Rescue Hawk
Late Sunday morning members of the NYPD's Harbor Unit were on patrol in the vicinity of the Brooklyn Bridge when officers observed a distressed hawk in the water. The officers approached the bird under the Brooklyn Bridge and saw that it was flapping its wings, but could not take flight.
