Barbara Amoroso In 1898 stealing from a garden was the same as stealing food out of the mouths of their kids. Most farmers would feed a stranger, some in exchange for work. If you were a thief than that meant you were up to no good . Interesting times lay ahead. Might need to stock up on rock salt.
